Title
The Honest Ulsterman Jan/Feb 1973 cover
Description
I'm not sure how they got away with this in early 1970s Belfast/Northern Ireland. Probably because early 1970s Belfast/Northern Ireland had other things on its mind. It's a very male cover, appropriately so, as there aren't any females in the issue, which wasn't unusual at the time.
John Middleton (1945–1981) a Belfast-born artist and printmaker, did this and other HU covers. He was the son of Colin Middleton.
